MOTOR YACHT AFT COCKPIT CANOPY

The available cockpit space on board a motor yacht can be utilised to it’s full potential with the addition of a Cockpit Canopy. Not only will the canopy extend the living and usable area, it will also provide protection for you & your crew and your cockpit from bad weather conditions.

The extra space gained by adding the canopy can now be maximized in other ways. For example, it will provide extra accommodation, space to hang any wet weather clothing or even a room in which to socialise with your family or friends.

The Cockpit Canopy is designed to attach to a flybridge or wheelhouse using quality fastenings. The cover then extends aft, supported by framework where necessary, down to the rear of your cockpit. Incorporated into the C&J design are zipped panels which can be used not only for access, but can be easily opened and rolled up should airflow be required in the cockpit.

The Cockpit Canopy is manufactured using a UV stable and shower resistant acrylic canvas. This acrylic canvas is available in a wide range of colours and should be able to make your choice to match existing canvas work, or even co-ordinate with your craft’s colour scheme, an easy one!

ADDITIONAL WINDOWS

The standard layout of a C&J Marine Cockpit Canopy comes with three windows. The port, starboard and aft panels all benefit from a large window which allows a considerable amount of light into the cockpit. If more light and/or vision is required in the cockpit, extra windows in the side and aft panels of your Cockpit Canopy are available as a optional extra. Window blinds can also be added to the interior of the windows providing more privacy.

INTEGRAL STORAGE POUCH

For flybridge style cruiser, an optional integral storage pouch can be added to your Cockpit Canopy. This pouch is added to the top of panels adjacent to the flybridge. The window panels can then be rolled up and simply zipped into the pouch.

EXTERNAL PROTECTIVE WINDOW COVERS

To enable protection of the Cockpit Canopy windows as well as blocking out any unwanted light, C&J Marine window covers are the solution. Keeping the windows covered will prolong the life of the PVC material. When covering the windows of the Sprayhood and Cockpit Canopy, privacy can also be achieved, ideal for those who live aboard or cruise extensively. These covers are manufactured from the same fabric as the Sprayhood and will attach to the outside of the canopy using secure high quality fasteners.
