Description
Many boat covers will start to leak after a couple of years without maintenance. This is due to the original impregnation of the fabric being affected by UV radiation.
The Ultramar Sprayhood & Tent Protector has been developed to impregnate your cover to provide extra water repellency as well as protection against dirt, algae and mildew. Regular impregnation of your covers will extend the life of your covers!

Application
- Before you start, make sure the cover is both clean and dry.
- The protector is easy and safe to use and is also ready mixed
- Apply the protector directly onto the cover with a soft brush to get an even coverage. Make sure to work into the surface to ensure the fabric, seams, stitching, zippers and detailing are well impregnated.
- For maximum protection, treat the inside of the cover as well
- Then leave the cover to dry
Even though the protector is water based, you should avoid applying or getting the protector onto windows, deck or other surfaces. If any protector does end up in these places, remove immediately using a damp cloth and rinsing with fresh water.

Please note the required quantity depends on the type of fabric!
- 500ml – 4 to 7 square metres
- 1 Litre – 6 – 14 square metres
- 2.5 Litres – 15 – 30 square metres
