This treatment is a natural silver bacterial killer which helps reduce the build up of bacteria for example MRSA, Salmonella and E-Coli to name a few and many others, this treatment also inhibits mildew growth on the matting itself. The silver treatment while inhibiting the growth of bacteria still retains and effective hygienic odour control. This treatment is widely used in the health care industry and has shown to reduce bacteria growth by 99.9% compared to non treated fabrics. |

The FLEXI AIR MAT is specifically designed to reduce build up of condensation and mildew growth under seating and mattress applications, the 3 dimensional spacer fabric allows the air to circulate beneath the cushions therefore reducing the build up of moisture which may in turn reduce the effects of condensation. The FLEXI AIR MAT is manufactured in the UK under strict environmental conditions and has been screened for harmful substances, it is 100%
polyester, washable and totally recyclable, which is another reason to choose the FLEXI AIR MAT from C&J Marine Ltd.
The FLEXI AIR MAT is 2.1 metres wide and available for as little as 1 metre ‘off the roll’. This enables you to purchase as much or as little as required. The fabric is easily cut using household scissors; no need to purchase special tools! FLEXI AIR MAT is 8mm thick, which we believe to be the optimum density for this type of application. Some thicker spacer fabrics can be a nuisance by lifting cushions out of place causing problems with the ‘fit’. Although the
matting is only 8mm thick, it has been developed to with stand over 2 tonnes per m2 before collapse. FLEXI AIR MAT conforms to the British Standard for flame retardancy EN1021-1:1994; and is manufactured under quality assurance ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. The fabric has also been Oekotex approved to an international testing and certification system for textiles. Oekotex is widely accepted as a bench mark standard throughout the textiles industry.
